Where has the time gone...

Wow! It's been a while since I last made a post on this blog. I plan on turning it into my financial rant and rave site. With this being said... I'll start posting more on here to keep everyone informed on my financial whirlwind and what the heck I have been up to lately.

Taxes Due Today

Hope everyone got their taxes in today. What a rough year for me and my taxes. Accidently didn't pay enough and have to cut a check to the good old IRS. A first for me, and certainly something that I hope to never have to experience again.

I found a good place to do your taxes online for cheap. I basically took all my W2s and pluggd all the information into the website. It produced my taxes in minutes, accurately, and in the cleanest format you can find. I don't know how people could have possibly done taxes before this without a problem (unless they have the money to hire an accountant). You wonder if these programs will eventually hurt the small "tax places" like H&R block. Then again, everyone thought the USPS would be hurting with e-mail becoming popular.

The New Look plus a Poem

I can't decide if I like this new look or not. It's awfully fance, but I guess that's not a bad thing. It actually reminds me of this poem that I really like, because it came in a book that looks exactly like this blogger template. Here is how it goes:

Probably not for everyone, but I like it. Please post comments on whether or not you like the new blog template, or if I should go with something different. Everyone seems to use the same ones and this one is one of the few unique ones I saw.
